Intake Coordinator Opportunity - Per Diem
The
Intake Coordinator is a vital part of Arbour Hospital's clinical operations team. This is a Per Diem opportunity with opportunities to pick up weekday and weekend shifts.

We treat primary psychiatric and substance abuse disorders and constantly strive to meet the needs of our communities with treatment that address individualized behavioral health needs. Our medical staff consists of psychiatrists who average 20 years of practice at our facility, providing a solid and trusted foundation for our patient-focused approach to behavioral healthcare. We stand ready to provide compassionate care through inpatient treatment and a strong continuum of aftercare services, community-based programs, and day treatment.


Responsibilities

  • Ensure efficient and effective calling processing to coordinate patient admissions
  • Work collaboratively in the centralized call center responding to inpatient, partial hospital, and outpatient referral requests
  • Process demographic and clinical information
  • Ensure verification of insurance eligibility and benefits

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree in psychology, social work, sociology, or another human services related field (_3 years prior hospital intake call center experience + High School Diploma may be substituted for a bachelor's degree)_
  • Ability to multitask and work in a very fast paced environment
- _Preferred prior intake call center experience and/or insurance verification experience_
