As a *Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)* in our Skilled Nursing Care unit, you will play a vital role in providing care to our residents.

You'll join our family of caregivers, collaborating with nurses, direct caregivers, and support staff to maintain the well-being and independence of our residents.

Whether administering medications, assisting with daily activities, or providing emotional support, your dedication will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those under our care.

*What you will do

Medications and treatments are administered accurately and according to provider's orders.
Allows resident choices within limits of capability considering safety /dignity issues and follows policies and procedures of facility to include resident privacy and dignity.
Assigns duties to non-professional staff such as CNAs according to education, training, policy and resident need in order to assure quality resident care is delivered. Engages team members for optimal performance and addresses performance as needed.
Participates in administering medications, treatments, monitoring and observation of resident care. Identifies changes in condition with proper documentation according to standards of nursing practice. Demonstrates consistent follow through to promote positive resident outcomes. Utilizes good judgment and specialized skills.

*Experience

Less than 1 year Nursing experience (Preferred)

*Licenses and Certifications

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) Upon Hire(Required)
CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) within 30 Days(Required)
