Schedule:
Monday to Friday, Day Shift


Are you passionate about crafting nutritious and tasty meals for children? Do you excel in a kitchen environment that prides itself on delivering appealing dishes? If you answered yes, then Launch Pad Learning is looking for someone like you We are a dynamic and growing preschool, dedicated to providing outstanding early education and are currently seeking a dedicated Preschool Cook/Chef to prepare meals for up to 125 children in our State Preschool Program.


Responsibilities:


  • Prepare nutritious and delicious meals for up to 125 children.
  • Follow established menu plans and cooking instructions to ensure meals are appealing and wellprepared.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen, including all preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.
  • Comply with all food safety regulations, including adherence to the annual USDA School Lunch program.
  • Ensure timely and efficient delivery of meals to classrooms.
  • Perform additional kitchen duties as necessary.

Requirements:


  • Current Safe Serve certificate.
  • Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification if not already certified.
  • Ability to pass FBI, DOJ, and Child Abuse Index clearances.
  • Experience in using diverse ingredients and various cooking techniques.
  • Capability to work efficiently in a fastpaced and multitasking environment.
