Job description
We are a high-end interior design + lifestyle brand looking for a short-form video editor to help grow our audience quickly across short form channels.
This role is performance-focused — not just formatting.What You'll Do:
- Edit short-form videos (30–60 seconds)
- Improve hooks (first 2–3 seconds are critical)
- Tighten pacing and remove dead space
- Rearrange clips if needed for stronger retention
- Add clean, elevated captions and text overlays
- Suggest stronger on-screen hook variations
- Repurpose long-form YouTube into short clips
What We're Looking For:
- Strong understanding of retention and scroll psychology
- Experience editing for growth-focused creators
- Clean, elevated editing style (not chaotic/trend-heavy)
- Ability to take initiative and improve performance
Important:
You will not define brand strategy or content direction — that remains internal.
But we do want someone confident enough to suggest stronger hooks and edits that improve performance.
