Job Summary
We want to find a dedicated team member ready to work with a well established team. Responsible running satellite clinic at an offsite location with limited help. During hours other than satellite clinic, position would work at main office front desk in Lutherville. Duties would include, registration and check in of patients, answering the phones, scheduling patient's appointments in Practice Management system.

This positions REQUIRES travel to an offsite location (Clarksville, and back up for Pasadena) 2 to 3 days per week.

The remaining 2 to 3 days a week would be in our Lutherville office.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Working at offsite location with limited assistance/help.
  • Running Clinic involves checking patients in and out for appointments, scheduling followup appointments, and submitting completed encounters to billing.
  • Rooming patients in satellite office, working with physician to download imaging, other follow up information.
  • Scheduling appointments (includes gathering all necessary patient demographic and insurance data), and notifying patients of any arrangements made.
  • Entering information into Practice Management system.
  • Answering telephone calls and initiating calls when necessary.
  • Cooperate with other staff for efficient operations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years' experience in a medical office environment, preferably in a front desk role.
  • Previous customer service experience or other medical office experience with communication to patients.
  • Excellent work ethic and team work skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, EMR/PM systems.
  • Ability to exercise judgment and independence to provide services necessary to meet the patient and their family's/guests' needs.
  • Must be able to type accurately with precise data entry skills.
  • Ability to schedule and register patients rapidly and accurately.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  • Detail oriented, and organized.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment.

Working Conditions
Normal office environment. Frequently dealing with staff or patients in a one on one environment. Work hours are Monday through Friday during business hours usually between 7:30 AM and 5:30 P.M; schedule may vary.

$ $21.00 per hour
