- Develop and maintain demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and sales inputs.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to gather information for forecasting.
- Analyze demand patterns and market trends to identify opportunities and risks.
- Monitor forecast accuracy and adjust as needed by evaluating key performance indicators.
- Execute purchasing processes with overseas suppliers, focusing on order processing, invoices, and payments.
- Maintain supplier delivery status and resolve discrepancies.
- Work with the procurement team to optimize inventory levels.
- Provide input to supplier and supply chain processes for inventory priorities.
- Evaluate inventory across all warehouse locations and execute necessary transfers.
- Support suppliers with product information and purchase orders.
- Coordinate with the production team to align activities with the demand forecast.
- Collaborate with 3PL partners for accurate forecasting and inventory management.
- Identify and implement process improvements in demand planning.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in demand planning.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in demand planning, preferably in B2B and 3PL environments.
- Strong analytical skills for complex data analysis.
- Understanding of B2B e-commerce platforms like Wayfair and Castlegate.
- Excellent knowledge of forecasting methods.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (Pivots, V-lookup, etc.).
- Experience with ERP systems is beneficial.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Excellent punctuality and attendance.
