Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Daycare Teacher to join our team.

As a Daycare Teacher, you will be responsible for providing a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.

Your role will involve implementing age-appropriate activities, supervising playtime, and fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.


Duties:


  • Create and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and promote early childhood development
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
  • Supervise children during playtime, ensuring their safety and wellbeing
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and social interaction
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure the smooth operation of the daycare center
  • Communicate with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the classroom, including sanitizing toys and equipment regularly

Requirements:


  • Previous experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to effectively manage a classroom and maintain discipline
  • Patience, compassion, and the ability to connect with children on an individual level
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • High school diploma or equivalent (associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education is preferred)

Skills:


  • Classroom management
  • Babysitting experience
  • Toddler care expertise
  • Experience working with students in a classroom or daycare setting
  • Knowledge of preschool curriculum and childhood development principles
  • Strong caregiving skills to provide a nurturing environment for children

  • Teaching: 1 year (preferred)
  • Childcare: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Child Development Associate Certification (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

  • Houston, TX required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Houston, TX 77067: Relocate before starting work (required)
