Job Summary:


  • Works with Process Design Group to develop, maintain and improve accuracy of bill of materials and routing on Jobs.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Setup and maintain item codes (raw materials, semifinished goods, finished goods) and BOM
  • Receives jobs and reviews them for accuracy
  • Updates any incorrect jobs on the Job/Item level
  • Create items codes in the respective IT system
  • Create BOMs and routings, work with PDG to ensure BOMs are operationally correct and maintained
  • Followup and resolve variations in a timely manner
  • Cleanse databases such as duplicates, inconsistencies, performance, etc. on a routine basis
  • Work closely with PDG to input new bills of material as well as modified existing bills to support the engineering change process
  • Develop and maintain basic product knowledge
  • Keep informed of market, new products or services, basic technical information, product reliability and other general information of interest to the customer
  • Offer and obtain assistance from peers or supervisor when needed.
  • Maintain flexibility in performing other related task or functions as required or assigned

Job Specifications:

  • Ability to communicate effectively either verbally/written
  • Ability to understand/interpret prints/specs
  • Conflict resolution and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to type WPM

Education_**:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
**_

Work Experience_**:

  • Minimum of oneyear experience in a clerical position preferred.

Physical Requirements_**:

  • Visual acuity to process paperwork
  • Long periods of sitting at a desk
