We are looking for a talented and creative full stack .Net Software Engineer to join a growing and motivated team working in a fast-paced, Agile/Scrum shop.

Software Engineer

Our Thousand Oaks development center is looking for a Software Engineer to help us maintain and enhance our extensive line of internal business applications as well as our customer-facing websites.

Working with analysts and other engineers, you will help design and create new applications and features as well as help maintain existing code for our web and server-based applications using C#, HTML, Vue, and JavaScript.

Create and maintain software applications that allow the company to meet its evolving business objectives.

High quality applications and features that meet Stakeholder needs, produced on schedule, and within resource allocations.
All code that is produced is efficient, maintainable and conforms in style to accepted standards.
All design work is appropriate to the need and is developed and documented in collaboration with project team members.
Code is developed within a team environment in a manner that facilitates automated builds.
Bugs rates are kept low through thorough unit testing and continual awareness of and attention to improvement.

Essential Duties:

Full-Stack Development:

Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end solutions using the .NET stack (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core).

Agile Methodology:

Actively participate in Agile processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Remote Collaboration:

Effectively communicate and collaborate with remote team members using video conferencing, chat, and project management tools.

Code Review:

Engage in regular code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and knowledge sharing within the team.

Testing and Quality Assurance:

Write unit tests and participate in test-driven development.
Collaborate with QA team members to identify and address bugs.

Front-End Development:

Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks.

Back-End Development:

Implement server-side logic and database interactions using .NET technologies (e.g., Entity Framework, SQL Server).

API Development:

Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless communication between front-end and back-end components.

Version Control:

Use version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage and track changes to the codebase.

CI/CD Implementation:

Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.

DevOps Collaboration:

Collaborate with DevOps team members to optimize the development and deployment processes.

Documentation:

Create and maintain documentation for code, APIs, and system architecture as needed.

Problem Solving:

Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in both front-end and back-end components of the application.

Scalability and Performance Optimization:

Optimize code and system architecture for scalability and performance.

Security Best Practices:

Implement security best practices in both front-end and back-end development.

On-Site Meetings:

Attend occasional on-site meetings, collaborating with team members and stakeholders in person.

Job Skills Desired:

Being a Team Player.
Strong analytical skills are a must.
Ability to design and document web applications.
Ability to troubleshoot and maintain application code.
Solid skills with all aspects of multi-tiered applications including user interfaces, business objects, data objects.
2+ years programming in C#.
Extensive experience with .NET Framework components through v 4.0.
Experience working with Web services, ASP.NET, and MVC in Visual Studio.

NET.

Experience with XHTML, XML, CSS, Vue, and JavaScript.
Solid relational database design and implementation skills working in SQL Server.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to participate in and contribute to productive meetings.
Able to participate in sprint planning and tracking in accordance with project plans and management directives.
Experience in agile development methodology preferred.
Organized and able to work with minimal supervision.

Dexterity and ability to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other devices and objects for significant portions of the workday.

These additional qualifications will be helpful:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
MCSD, MCAD, or MCPD
