Key Sub Tasks
- Installation: Conduct installations of electrical systems in residential and commercial properties according to local and national electrical codes and regulations.
- Wiring: Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, switches, outlets, and fixtures in accordance with project plans and specifications.
- Panel Upgrades: Perform panel upgrades, circuit breaker installations, and electrical system upgrades to enhance safety and efficiency.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in residential properties and provide effective solutions to ensure optimal functionality.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations to minimize risks of electrical hazards and accidents.
- Customer Service: Communicate effectively with homeowners and contractors to understand their requirements and provide excellent customer service throughout the installation process.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and inspections for compliance and reference purposes.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure that electrical installations meet industry standards and customer expectations.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other technicians, contractors, and team members to coordinate installations and complete projects efficiently.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on advancements in electrical technology, tools, and techniques through training and professional development opportunities.
- Electrical Knowledge: You should have a strong understanding of Electrical systems and components, including Electrical panels, wiring, generators, outlets, and EV chargers.
- Communication Skills: You must be able to effectively communicate with clients, including explaining technical information in a way that is easy for nontechnical people to understand.
- Technical Skills: You should be familiar with Electrical principles and be able to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
- Customer Service: You should have excellent customer service skills, including the ability to build rapport with clients, understand their needs, and address their concerns.
- Time Management: You must be able to manage your time effectively, including scheduling appointments, meeting with clients, and following up on leads.
