Surety Credit Analysis Consultant

Responsibilities:


Duties:


  • Develop a deep understanding of Crowe's financial analysis software
  • Establish and maintain relationships with surety underwriting professionals and clients
  • Support clients' use of Crowe financial analysis software
  • Consult with new and existing clients on surety credit best practices and Crowe technology tools
  • Gather information regarding the processes and tools used by existing clients and prospects
  • Maintain understanding and familiarity with regulatory compliance affecting the surety credit area
  • Collaborate with software technical team to identify the most effective methods to accomplish client goals while creating efficiencies and improving the quality of credit decision data
  • Translate clientdriven business needs into consumable features/stories for the development team
  • Prepare and make presentations to new and existing clients
  • Collaborate and provide guidance with agile development teams in building quality software and software enhancements
  • Prepare and analyze financial analysis industry peer data
  • Collaborate with clients to ensure they are able to execute their surety credit processes with the support of the technology tools

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
  • Certification as CCIFP or AFSB required
  • SQL experience a plus
  • Strong data visualization skills, Power BI experience a plus
  • Data analytics experience
  • Solid understanding of financial statements including balance sheet, income statement, cash flows, and key ratios
  • Surety underwriting or financial statement analysis experience a plus
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, managing time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently and within established timeframes and budgets
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong math aptitude, organizational and analytical skills
  • Technology savvy, having a passion to work with and create new software technology
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships both internally and externally
  • Strong problemsolving skills
  • Passionate about bringing improvement and change to the surety underwriting industry
