JOB DESCRIPTION

The Electrical Engineer applies mathematical and engineering principles and methods to electrical system designs. Contributes to the design, development, and testing of electrical equipment, components, or systems. Being an Electrical Engineer requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Works directly with more senior engineers to develop new designs and solutions. In addition, an Electrical Engineer typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Being an Electrical Engineer gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.

Working as an Electrical Engineer typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience.1 - 2 years of related experience required; 2-4 years preferred

• Ability to effectively communicate and interact with team members, engineers and scientists

• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and mechanical assembly drawings

• AC/DC

• Electrical

• High Speed I/O and data multiplexing experience
