The State Office for Consumer Protection Saxony-Anhalt is looking to fill a position as a Test Manager (State-certified Food Chemist) (m/f/d) at the earliest possible date, but no later than .

The position is permanent and the salary is based on pay group E 13 TV-L. The place of work is Halle (Saale).


The State Office for Consumer Protection Saxony-Anhalt is a state authority within the Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs, Health and Equality and is the central authority for the health of the people in Saxony-Anhalt.

We are represented at various locations throughout the state.

In our state laboratory, we use modern methods to examine samples of food, drinking and bathing water, medicines, as well as microbiological samples from humans and animals.

We monitor the occurrence of diseases in the population and, as an enforcement authority, ensure compliance with occupational safety regulations in the facilities of our state.


For these tasks, we employ approximately 480 professionals from the fields of medicine, veterinary medicine, food chemistry, biology, chemistry, physics, technology, administration, and many other disciplines.

In the "Plant-based Foods" department of the Food Safety division, we are looking for reinforcement to perform the following
tasks:

  • Food chemical analysis and expert assessment of plant-based foods, in particular dietary supplements, sports nutrition, balanced diets, dietary foods, and flavorings
  • Deputy food
