Description

As a Machine Operator worker, you will be responsible for operating machinery and equipment to fabricate metal products according to specifications.

You will ensure the efficient and safe operation of machines, monitor production processes, and perform quality checks to maintain high standards of output.

Additionally, you may be required to perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery to ensure smooth operation.

You will work as part of a team on the production line, following safety protocols and quality standards to meet production targets.

Responsibilities:

Operate metalworking machinery such as lathes, drills, grinders, presses, and welding equipment to fabricate metal components or products.
Monitor production processes to ensure they are running smoothly and efficiently. Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain product quality and meet production quotas.
Take corrective actions as necessary to correct any issues on finished products.
Handle raw materials and finished products safely and efficiently, including loading and unloading materials onto/from production machinery.
Assist in assembling metal components into finished products according to blueprints or instructions. Perform finishing operations such as grinding, polishing, or painting as required.
Keep the work area clean and organized to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Work collaboratively with other team members, including supervisors, engineers, and quality control personnel, to achieve production goals and resolve any issues that arise.
Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries in the workplace. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), follow safe lifting techniques, and maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
Report any safety hazards or concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in the metal industry.
Proficiency in operating metalworking machinery and equipment.
Basic understanding of blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings is preferred.
Proven experience as a welder in a manufacturing or production setting is preferred.
Previous experience as a Machine Operator or similar role is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment and meet production deadlines.
Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
Manual capability and handeye coordination.
Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including noise, heat, and cold.

A Machine Operator worker plays a vital role in the manufacturing process by operating machinery, ensuring product quality, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the production line.

Pay:
$ $17.00 per hour
