Primary Role:
As a member of the Kentucky State Police Information Technology Branch, you will be responsible for supportingsystems/applications throughout the Commonwealth and the specialized law enforcement IT software.
You will bea member of the Internal Support Section.Key Responsibilities:
Provide support for the specialized law enforcement IT software used by KSP personnel.
Provide support for the KSP Information Technology systems including software used by KSP employees andTroopers/Officers.
Lead technician for all law enforcement software for the KSP employees.
Installs software and hardware that support KSP personnel.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Customer service
Operate a state vehicle when necessary.
Experience with law enforcement technology.

EDUCATION:
Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING,
OR SKILLS:
Two years of systems analysis, business administration, or public administration experience.
Substitute EDUCATION for
EXPERIENCE:
Related technical or vocational training will substitute for the bachelor's degree requirement on a year for year basis. A master's degree in computer science, business or public administration will substitute for one year of the experience requirement.
Substitute EXPERIENCE for
EDUCATION:
Experience in computer programming, systems analysis, information services, research and statistics, business administration, or public administration will substitute for the bachelor's degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.
