Performance and Process Improvement Representative - Groton, United States - General Dynamics Electric Boat
Description
Overview:
Tasks include:
- Driving and tracking the actions within the Directorate Performance Improvement Plan (PIP)
- Lead and coordinate proficiency assessment
- Assist management in the development of gap closure plans
- Lead a team of organizational representatives to identify and address systemic issues
- Host and mediate collaboration workshops in order to inform procedure updates
- Develop endtoend maps for organization procedures in order to identify process strengths or weaknesses
- Lead a plan to review the critical electrical engineering and design procedures that will identify where and what changes are needed to drive collaboration
- Identify unused/obsolete procedures
- Measure the progress and impacts of the organizational performances and process changes
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelors of Science or Bachelors of Arts degree
- Demonstrated success in leading process or performance changes for an organization
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project and PowerPoint
Preferred:
- Familiar with electrical engineering design procedures and processes
- Endtoend process mapping
- Proficient in Six Sigma or other process improvement methods
