The JVA Bochum is currently seeking to fill a position as an employee (m/f/d) in the administrative service 1.2 of pay group 4 of the collective agreement for the public service of the federal states TV-L, initially limited until December 20, 2023.

This is a full-time position with a contractual weekly working time of 39 hours and 50 minutes.

Description of the Authority
The JVA Bochum is a closed prison for adult men with a capacity of 791 inmates.

The institution is responsible for:

Pretrial detention, extradition and transit detention for adults
Prison sentences (initial detention) from 3 to 30 months
Prison sentences (regular detention) from 3 months to 30 months
Prison sentences of more than 30 months according to the result of the admission procedure
Prison sentences of more than 24 months for foreigners
It also has a social therapy department and a department for prisoners with ordered or reserved preventive detention.

Challenge:

As an employee (m/f/d) in the administrative service 1.2 in the prison system, you will be responsible for administrative tasks in the various departments - main office, prison administration office, employment office, budget department, and payment office.

Qualifications:

At least a secondary school diploma or an equivalent recognized school leaving certificate
