Description
General Responsibilities**:
A Perform any combination of routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties to obtain or input financial data for use in maintaining accounting records.
Specific Job Duties:
- Ensure timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers
- Maintains accurate records and control reports
- Review applicable accounting reports and accounts payable register to ensure accuracy
- Clear understanding of reviewing and maintaining bank reports and credit card accounts
- Familiar with bank notes, processing invoices and posting payment
- Familiar with a variety of industry concepts, practices and procedures
- Familiar with general ledger accounts and coding for proper branch and departments
- Operate computers programmed with accounting software to record, store, and analyze information
- Access computerized financial information to answer general questions as well as those related to specific accounts
- Code documents according to company procedures
- Perform general office duties, such as filing, answering telephones, and handling routine correspondence
Requirements:
- Two years' experience
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer needs
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner
- Strong communication skills
- Balance individual responsibilities
- Excellent customer service skills
- High School Diploma or GED
