Boehringer Ingelheim is currently seeking a talented and innovative
Intern/Co-Up Engineering & Tech Ops-Operational Excellence
to join our _Engineering and Technology _department located at our _Fremont, CA _
facility.

As an Intern, you will _drive the development of a holistic engineering resource management process which is required to unite all engineering teams under one process and to enable workload allocation and data analytics.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- _Engage with cross functional leadership, manufacturing, and engineering teams to scope out deliverables in digital solutions _
- _Communicate with stakeholders and leadership on progress, challenges, and accomplishments. _
- _Foster creativity and out of the box thinking in developing solutions. _
- _Actively reach out and encourage input and buy in to any changes implemented. _


Requirements:


  • Must be a current undergraduate, graduate or advanced degree student in good academic standing
  • Student must be enrolled at a college or university for the duration of the internship
  • Overall cumulative minimum GPA from last completed quarter/semester 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) preferred
  • Major or minor in related field of internship
  • Undergraduate students must have completed at least 12 credit hours at current college or university
  • Graduate and advanced degree students must have completed at least 9 credit hours at current college or university

Desired Experience, Skills and Abilities:

- _Proficient in excel, word, MS Project, Powerpoint, and other Microsoft organizational programs _
- _Easily learns and self-educates in us of MS based solutions. _
- _Self-motivation is key to drive changes and solutions individually and with the collective. _
- _Engineering or biology background preferred but not required. _
- _Experience in leading project with multiple stakeholders is preferred. _


Eligibility Requirements:


  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.

Compensation:

This position offers an hourly rate typically between $20/ hour and $33/ hour commensurate to the level of degree program in which an applicant is actively enrolled.
