- Conduct design feasibility studies and cost analyses.
- Perform strength calculations and part construction.
- Develop part specifications and coordinate activities involved in prototyping, fabricating, and manufacturing of assigned systems.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure appropriate parts/services are requested and evaluate technical proposals.
- Write comprehensive technical reports and effectively communicate research and test results in various formats.
- Make technical decisions with moderate supervision.
- Work both independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.
- Maintain a valid Ohio driver's license.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering.
- Proficiency in technical writing and computer skills for scientific and technical applications.
- Experience with CATIA V5 and V6, including drawing creation, advanced surfacing, sheet metal, CAE, and draft analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
- Previous experience in design feasibility, cost analysis, and part construction.
