The Saxon State Ministry of Education is seeking to fill the position of

Deputy Principal (m/f/d)

at the respective elementary school on a permanent basis within the State Office for Schools and Education.

Requirements for the position are:

Teaching qualification acquired through First and Second State Examination or a Master of Education degree and State Examination, or an unrestricted teaching permit for teaching at elementary schools, or a vocational school degree as a teacher for lower grades with appropriate teaching qualifications in German, Mathematics, and one elective subject.
Several years of teaching experience, as well as experience as a homeroom teacher.
Proven teaching experience in the subjects of German or Mathematics at an elementary school with a teaching qualification for a different subject than elementary schools.

Advantageous qualifications include:

Aboveaverage ability for conceptual work, as well as organizational, pedagogical, and financial management of a school.
Strong communication and cooperation skills.
Comprehensive knowledge of school and quality development, participation in modules 1 and 2 of leadership training.
Further education in teaching beginners with a teaching qualification
