- Assess and evaluate wounds to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Clean and dress wounds using aseptic technique.
- Monitor and document wound healing progress.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop comprehensive care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on wound care management and prevention strategies.
- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians.
- Perform physical examinations to assess overall patient health.
- Utilize electronic medical record systems such as Cerner, eClinicalWorks, and ICD-10 coding.
- Proficient in wound care techniques and procedures.
- Knowledge of acute care practices and protocols.
- Ability to perform procedures for patients with chronic wounds.
- Competent in medication administration and dosage calculations.
