Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project specifications and drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects.


Responsibilities:

• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimates
• Review and evaluate bids from suppliers
• Develop detailed cost breakdowns for materials, labor, equipment
• Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction process
• Provide support in project management activities related to cost estimates
• Must have exceptional people skills
• 13 years commercial TI doors, Storefront, glass, & hardware estimating

Skills:

• Proficiency in Construction Estimating principles and techniques
• Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing
• Knowledge of Construction Management practices
• Extensive research of materials.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners
• Understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Estimates and coordinates timelines with project teams.

Pay:
$44, $55,000.00 per year


Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Construction estimating: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Los Angeles, CA required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Los Angeles, CA 90022: Relocate before starting work (required)
