Description

• Pull, route, and terminate copper cabling systems.
• Install networking and security equipment, including switches, routers, firewalls, and cameras.
• Initial programming of the above equipment.
• Collaborate with technicians and staff to ensure successful project completion.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cabling and network connectivity issues.
• Document all installations and changes according to company policies.
• Maintain an inventory of necessary equipment and materials.
• Provide technical support to customers and endusers as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Relevant technical certifications preferred (e.g., BICSI Installer, CompTIA Network+).
• 12 years of experience in low voltage cabling installation and maintenance.
• Experience in both residential and commercial settings is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Fiber Optic systems is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of ANSI/TIA and BICSI standards.
• Ability to interpret building plans and cabling schematics.
• Excellent problemsolving and communication skills.
• Proficiency with computers, access control and surveillance software and MS office is required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Capability to stand, kneel, and crawl as necessary.
• Comfort working in confined spaces and at heights using ladders and lifts.

• Low voltage cabling: 12 years minimum.
