Capitol Language Services (CLS) is hiring afterschool instructors for the SY

As a
PART-TIME afterschool instructor for Capitol Language Services, you will work with a dedicated team of professionals who provide high-quality afterschool for grades Pre-K 3 through 5th grade.

Our programming includes social activities, arts and crafts, outdoor time, yoga, language classes and more Perfect for those seeking to work in an early childhood or elementary school setting.

Have experience working with children in a school, camp, or daycare environment. At least 1 year is preferred.
Have the availability to work 36 pm, Monday
Friday. No partial weeks.
Possess the ability to guide children during the activities scheduled for the day.
Have EXCELLENT attendance.

Competitive Pay and Benefits:

Pay Starts at $20/hr. DOE.
Bonus available for staying till June.
Bimontly attendance bonus for those who qualify.
Employee referral bonus program.
A possibility of 6+ hours of work during DCPS closings are available to increase your pay

Requirements:

Must be available to start at least 1 week upon hire.
Complete all online trainings before first day of employment.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Experience working with early childhood and elementary schoolaged children or genuine interest in learning how to work in a school setting.
Basic computer knowledge is required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience and ability to handle various learning abilities.
Organizational and timemanagement skills.
Creativity and ability to teach engaging activities.
Familiar with Excel (read students' schedules and daily activities).
Legal US work authorization.
Previous experience related to this position is preferred.
Good references from previous employers.
Must be willing to undergo a DCPS background check.
