Yiamas Dairy Farms is a small business in the Greek yogurt and dairy products market.

Yiamas Dairy Farms brings to the American market only the best quality and most sought after Authentic Greek yogurt based products of traditional flavors and fine textures.

We are seeking an ambitious, passionate Regional Sales Representative.

This role provides an exciting opportunity to get in at the early stage of a fast growing company and possibly be part of the senior management team.

This is a job on the road, visiting potential and existing customers daily.


The Regional Sales Representative (works mostly remotely - preferably NY Metro Area and NE Region) is responsible for developing and growing the overall Yiamas Dairy Farms business within assigned key regional accounts in the foodservice and retail grocery channel in the East Region.


Responsibilities:


We are hiring individuals with passion for the food industry and talent in selling to develop their territory through competitive sales techniques, cold calling and knowledge of the company's products.


The position does require the following:

  • Manage distributor business to grow and develop sales in the given territory.
  • Work to be a team player with other RSRs throughout the country.
  • Report sales and distribution results in a given territory.
  • Develop and secure new accounts throughout the region including new distribution.
  • Manage and grow sales in existing accounts in a given territory.
  • Build relationships with new and existing customers to secure distribution objectives.
  • Travel regionally to call on corporatelevel accounts and deliver exceptional service to our customers
  • Develop longterm customer partnerships that result in increased sales and margin growth
  • Speak confidently and knowledgeably about Yiamas Dairy Farms products and benefits with customers
  • Execute business plans, resolve issues and deliver solutions to meet customer needs and drive profitable growth
  • Plan promotional activities to introduce new items and special opportunities, and when needed, work demos and samplings
  • Collaborate with internal technical, operations, and product development personnel to assure alignment of sales strategy and product offers within technical and operational capabilities
  • Ensure accomplishment of sales goals
  • Ensure effective and efficient time and expense management when traveling for the company.
  • Participate in all trade shows.
  • Other duties may be assigned

Requirements:


  • 4year college degree in marketing, or business preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • Successful sales and negotiating experience
  • Experience in food sales and the food distributor network.
  • Knowledge of business planning and financial performance measures
  • Must be available to maintain schedule appropriate with customer's business operations and travel 75% or more
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with individuals at all levels within the company and assigned accounts
  • Ability to rapidly adapt to changing business needs and priorities
  • Willingness to learn and work in all areas of the business as needs dictate
  • Valid driver's license and driving record that meets insurance underwriting requirements.
  • Own a car to use for business development.
  • Able to follow directions yet work independently.
  • Start up experience is a plus.
  • Speaking Greek is preferred.
  • Passionate about food and dairy.
