Description

Overview:

New Millennium is the 2nd largest steel joist and deck fabricator in the United States. We are proud of our quality, flexibility and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and timely estimates for specialty deck from contract drawings and specifications
Utilize Bluebeam, Excel and proprietary software
Track all addendums and revisions prior to bid time
Work with engineering and project management to achieve accurate design and efficiency
Maintain constant communication with sales team and DSMs
Other duties as necessary

Qualifications:

Read and understand contract drawings and specifications
Knowledge of Bluebeam, Salesforce and Excel software
Understand how to track, download and properly store drawings
Understand company and industry practices
Good verbal and written communication skills
Work in a fast paced environment to accurately and efficiently meet or exceed all deadline requirements
Two year Arch/Eng design related degree or prior structural and/or joist estimating or detailing experience
