- Design high-reliability electronic circuits for both commercial and military avionics.
- Define and document requirements for new hardware designs using enterprise tools such as Jama.
- Conduct preliminary design activities including hardware architecture and design trade-studies.
- Perform detailed design tasks such as circuit analysis and schematic generation.
- Provide technical oversight and coordination for circuit card layout.
- Conduct functional testing and integration of circuit card prototypes.
- Design and construct integration support equipment.
- Support electrical qualification testing.
- Assist in manufacturing processes during early unit builds.
- Supervise and mentor less experienced electrical designers.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 5 years of prior relevant experience
OR Advanced Degree in a related field with 3 years of prior relevant experience. - Must be a U.S. Person / Permanent Resident "Green Card" holder.
- Experience with Siemens EDA Xpedition Design and Layout software.
- Digital board design experience involving multi-gigabit serial links.

Position Overview: At PDS Tech we are driving the hiring process for an experienced Electrical Avionics Engineer to join a noteworthy team in Wilsonville, OR. This role primarily focuses on
