Description
"Join us and make a difference As a Bachelor of Engineering in the field of Mechatronics (specializing in General Mechatronics), you will have a diverse range of tasks in planning and constructing large-scale process plants, particularly those for the production and use of hydrogen as an energy source. Your work will take place both in engineering offices and on our construction sites worldwide.

You will combine your knowledge of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and IT to automate the plants, digitize processes, and optimize performance.

This presents a wealth of challenges and opportunities for creative solutions. During your studies at the Dual University of Applied Sciences in Mannheim, you will acquire the necessary theoretical foundations.

After the basic studies, which cover traditional subjects such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and IT, you will move on to the specialization in General Mechatronics.

This includes lectures on automation and Industry 4.0, as well as modules on business administration and project management.

During your practical phases at Linde, you will apply your theoretical knowledge in various areas.

Working on concrete solutions, you will gain insight into how companies function and what it takes to successfully implement your ideas in a team with others.

The program lasts for 3 years (6 semesters).

What you bring to the table:

  • A desire to collaborate and communicate in international teams
  • Interest in innovative technologies and creativity
  • Dedication to finding better and more sustainable solutions
  • Enjoyment of mathematics, physics, and IT
