Responsibilities:


  • Experience with international logistics is a must
  • Effectively manages all logistics project functions as required.
  • Coordinate trucking, rail, air, and ocean freight activities including scheduling pickups and dropoffs.
  • Communicates with shipping partners to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Manage and resolve shipping issues and challenges that may arise during transportation.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking and delivery information.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize logistics processes and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the logistics function
  • Review logistics invoices for accuracy.
  • Keep track of all company vehicles with regards to DOT requirements, registration, insurance, EZpass, etc.
  • Ensures the appropriate paperwork for logistics activities remains on schedule and in compliance with contract requirements. Reviews documents to ensure they are of good appearance, accuracy, clarity and correctness, adhering to team and client's standards.
  • Maintains orderly work area, prepares clear wellwritten memos/correspondence.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by management team

Education/Experience

Specific Knowledge, Skills, License, Certifications Etc.

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • College Degree preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance standards domestically and internationally
  • Proven experience in international logistics coordination or related field
  • Experienced in trucking and dispatch function
  • Detailoriented with strong organizational and problemsolving abilities
  • Knowledge of the permitting process for oversize load
  • Strong understanding of transportation operations and logistics management
  • Familiarity with best practices in supply chain management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in fastpaced, dynamic work environment
  • Collaborative attitude
  • Research and analysis skills
  • Dutch bilingual considered a strong asset
  • Onsite office work, remote work NOT available
