- Lead the establishment of a new pallet and crate production facility
- Implement enhancements in production and quality across the facility
- Provide effective leadership to optimize the utilization of plant resources and equipment
- Collaborate with sister locations to implement improvements
- Introduce innovative manufacturing processes to enhance product quality and reduce costs
- Plan, organize, and oversee day-to-day operations to exceed customer expectations
- Enhance production efficiency while controlling costs and maintaining quality standards
- Manage production output, product quality, and on-time delivery
- Optimize resource allocation for maximum productivity
- Monitor operations and implement necessary corrective measures
- Recruit, manage, and develop plant personnel
- Analyze data to identify areas of inefficiency and excess overtime
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and promote a culture of safety
- Develop systems to track productivity, standards, and performance targets for efficient asset utilization
- Address employee concerns following company guidelines
- Manage raw material inventory and uphold quality standards
- Control manufacturing costs within budget limits and explore cost-saving initiatives
- Minimum of ten years experience in plant operations or engineering
- Demonstrated skills in leadership, supervision, and team management
- Proficiency in hiring, team building, decision-making, and people management
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
- Understanding of business and management principles including budgeting, planning, and resource allocation
- Familiarity with industry-standard equipment and technical expertise
- Understanding of safety, quality, productivity, inventory, and stewardship processes
- Bachelor's degree in operations management, business, engineering, or related field

Tree Brand Packaging has a history of over 30 years manufacturing custom wood block and stringer pallets. We have expanded to 7 locations across the Southeast, including NC, SC, AL, GA, TN, by providing exceptional customer service and innovative design solutions to meet specific customer needs.
We are currently in search of a plant manager to supervise the production, maintenance, and quality operations at our newest facility in Huntsville, AL. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the plant's start-up and ensuring that manufacturing processes align with company objectives, quality standards, and customer requirements. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proficient in team leadership, and committed to achieving operational excellence to drive the company's success.
