Who We Are Looking For

:


We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled
Executive Secretary at SCDC that will provide high-level administrative support to our executive team and report to the Chief of Visionary Officer of S.H.A.R.E Development Community Corp and be managed by Chief of Staff of S.H.A.R.E Development Community Corp.

The Executive Secretary will demonstrate superior organizational skills, proficiency in executive assistance, and exceptional writing capabilities. This position demands a professional individual with outstanding typing accuracy, essential for recording executive meeting dictations. Moreover, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with efficiency and precision.


Key Responsibilities

:


  • Required exceptional typing skills (over 80 words per minute) for a variety of tasks such as transcribing meeting minutes, drafting correspondence, preparing reports, and policies and procedures.
  • Utilize technical, expository, and business writing skills to create clear and concise documentation, including executive summaries. Possess the ability to meticulously review work for errors and ensure accuracy.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Chief of Visionary Officer and Chief of Staff, including planning scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing travel arrangements.
  • Coordinate with various departments to compile, review, and edit technical documents, employee manuals and policies for accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage confidential and sensitive documents and information with discretion and integrity.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and briefs for executive meetings and community events.
  • Facilitate communication between the executive team and internal departments, ensuring smooth and efficient information flow.
  • Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required by the Chief of Visionary Officer to support the organization's objectives.

Qualifications and Requirements

:


  • Proven experience as an Executive Secretary, Executive Assistant Technical Writer, Court Reporter, or similar role with a minimum of 7 years of experience in a fastpaced environment.
  • Required exceptional typing speed of 80 words per minute with high accuracy.
  • Strong background in technical writing, with the ability to produce clear and effective documentation.
  • Active listening skills to understand instructions and anticipate the needs of an executive team.
  • Ability to be flexible and resourceful, being prepared for unexpected changes and adjusting plans according to finding solutions to challenges.
  • Experience in court reporting or similar roles requiring accurate transcription and dictation abilities.
  • Excellent organizational, timemanagement, and prioritization skills to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Mastery in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Ability to excel in new technologies, and familiarity with digital transcription tools.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Professional demeanor representing the executive and the organization professionally.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communication, Legal Studies, or related field preferred.

  • This position is in Downtown Houston, Texas 7700
  • The minimum salary is $52,000, the maximum $91,000 and may be adjusted based on experience, education, knowledge, skills, and previous salary history.
  • This is a primarily onsite role (Monday through Friday). Given the nature of the business,
    we do not offer remote working opportunities.
