Description:

Responsible for the removal and installation of color head and plate cylinders
Conducts overhaul of color heads and plate cylinders
Performs set-ups and changeovers on all printing machines when covering on production floor as required.
Assists production personnel in obtaining maximum machine efficiency and productivity levels when covering on production floor
Disassembles, inspects and repair all parts of color head and plate cylinder.
Restores and keeps color heads and plate cylinder in good running condition.
Performs modifications as required.
Provides training on color heads, plate cylinders, other printer related issues, set ups and procedures.
Responsible for completing required documentation, work orders, logbooks and company records.
Responsible for roller inventory checking (checks rollers before being sent out to be recovered and checks returned rollers to ensure they are the correct diameter when they are returned).
Ensures roller assembly is ready to be installed on the production floor.
Communicates machine issues to Team Members and Management.
Maintains machine tooling and spare parts cabinets in an organized and professional manner

Printing press, Blueprint, Troubleshooting, change over, mechanical, mechanical aptitude, mechanic certification, plastics injection molding, printing machine, print press, electrical
