About the position & the team:

The Events team is part of the Communication & Advocacy department and is responsible for organizing all events of Wikimedia Germany. In collaboration with internal departments and our community, the six-person team implements various event formats - from networking meetings and workshops to our general meetings and various award ceremonies, as well as large conferences such as WikiCon and the Wikimedia Summit.

In addition, the team provides advice to internal departments and external partners not only in the conception of events held at our headquarters, but also supports in their implementation and ensures a smooth process.

What you will achieve with us:

From day 1, you will be a full member of our event team and support in the preparation and execution of events
You will learn modern working methods in one of the largest digital NGOs in Germany and have contact with external partners
You will continuously develop and eventually take on independent tasks
You will accompany and support diverse events directly at our office
