    Sourcing and Procurement Manager

    We are seeking a Sourcing and Procurement Manager based in our Dallas office.

    Job Overview:


    The Sourcing and Procurement Manager plays a crucial role in optimizing the organization's supply chain by strategically sourcing goods and services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring efficient procurement processes.

    This role involves collaboration with various departments, suppliers, and stakeholders to achieve cost savings, quality improvement, and overall supply chain excellence.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Strategic Sourcing:
    Develop and implement a strategic sourcing plan aligned with organizational goals.
    Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and efficiency.
    Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conducting negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions.
    Continuously assess market trends, industry developments, and supplier capabilities.

    Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on criteria such as price, quality, and reliability.
    Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring performance meets or exceeds expectations.
    Monitor supplier performance, conduct regular evaluations, and address any issues or concerns promptly.
    Collaborate with suppliers to drive innovation, quality improvement, and cost reduction initiatives.

    Compliance and Risk Management:
    Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
    Identify and manage risks associated with procurement activities.
    Implement and enforce procurement policies and procedures.

    Contract Negotiation:
    Negotiate favorable terms and conditions in contracts, including pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and service levels.
    Draft and review contracts to ensure compliance with legal and organizational requirements.
    Work closely with legal and finance teams to mitigate risks and achieve optimal contract outcomes.


    Procurement Process Optimization:
    Streamline and optimize the end-to-end procurement process to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.
    Implement best practices for procurement, including e-sourcing, e-procurement, and vendor management systems.
    Develop and enforce procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance.


    Cost Management:
    Analyze cost structures and identify opportunities for cost savings and value creation.
    Implement cost reduction strategies without compromising quality or service levels.
    Track and report key performance indicators related to cost savings and procurement efficiency.


    Collaboration and Communication:
    Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
    Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, providing updates on procurement activities and initiatives.
    Facilitate training and awareness programs to promote procurement best practices within the organization.


    Sustainability and Social Responsibility:
    Integrate sustainability and social responsibility considerations into the procurement process.
    Source products and services from suppliers with ethical and environmentally friendly practices.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) are a plus.
    Proven experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, and supplier management.
    Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
    Knowledge of supply chain best practices and industry trends.
    Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
    Familiarity with procurement software and tools.
    Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
