Primary Responsibilities:
- Posts lockbox and direct payments to customer accounts according to procedure,
- Processes credit card payments according to procedure,
- Identifies insufficient funds checks and processes according to procedure,
- Identifies short pays and overpays and works with Director of Treasury to resolve according to procedure,
- Receives all credit/debit memos and collaborates with customer service to resolve issues, finalize all credit/debit memos, and processes all approved memos,
- Responds to Tier 1 customer inquiries regarding open invoices, prepayments and payments,
- Maintains payment files (filing check copies and posting reports),
- Performs postbilling detail quality control on invoices and statements prior to mailout,
- Supports Account Receivable Analysts with detailed research on customer issues,
- Supports the Sr. Treasury Analyst in the periodic (e.g., monthly / quarterly) cash account reconciliations in compliance with the company s balance sheet integrity practice,
- Performs other related duties as assigned,
Required Education and Experience:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate skill in Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP and other data mining functions),
- Corporate collections and/or oil and gas collections experience preferred,
- Ascend, MS Dynamics or similar ERP experience,
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time, onsite position based in Houston, TX. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday and range from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
