    Summit Orange currently has an open position for an Associate Manufacturing Engineer (1st shift).

    Summit Interconnect is a manufacturer of advanced technology printed circuit boards with a specific focus on complex rigid and rigid-flex product with unique expertise in RF/Microwave applications.

    Associate Manufacturing Engineer develops and run manufacturing processes for complex product and manufacturing methods.

    Qualifications:
    This is an

    entry-level manufacturing engineering position

    . To perform this job successfully,

    an individual must have a B.S. Degree in chemical or mechanical engineering.

    The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

    Responsibilities:
    Assist in manufacturing complex product that needs special attention.
    Responsible for incorporating product process improvements.

    Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators.

    Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
    Assures product and process capabilities; establishes standards; confirms manufacturing processes.
    Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
    Provides manufacturing engineering information by answering questions and requests.
    Define requirements and monitor all aspects of process control as it relates to Summit manufacturing processes.
    Works with manufacturing line operators to provide training/instructions.
    Conducts engineering reviews and walkthroughs on released work orders.
    Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops.

    Requirements/Education:
    Four-year degree in Engineering or closely related field or equivalent education and work experience.
    Ability to follow senior engineering instructions.
    Ability to communicate with manufacturing operators.
    Proficient in Word/Excel/PowerPoint.

    Compensation/Benefits:
    Summit offers a variety of health and benefit programs. Which include Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA plans, Hospital and Accident plans, Life Insurance, PTO, and Paid Holidays. Benefits are effective 1st day of the month following date of hire.
    Pay Range for this position is $70, $90,000.00 annually based on experience.
