Applied Marketing Science, Inc. (AMS) is an established market research and consulting firm located in Burlington, Massachusetts.

With roots in the MIT Sloan School of Business, AMS specializes in providing custom market research, consulting, and expert insight in two distinct practice areas:
Consumer Experience Innovation and Litigation support. We are seeking a motivated, tech-savvy, detail-oriented individual to join our Survey Programming Team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to combine market research knowledge and survey programming skills.


What your day will look like:

  • Quantitative survey development and survey programming on the Critical Mix survey platform
  • Collaborating with client service teams during market research survey design
  • Providing quality control, survey testing and data checking procedures on all projects, including questionnaires where documentation is provided to ensure errorfree skips and rotation
  • Delivering errorfree work
  • Maintaining a library of survey templates
  • Creating tools and job aids for knowledge base building
  • Collaborating in a team environment to deliver creative solutions
  • Work with team to investigate possible new systems
  • Offering technical support to staff as needed
  • Participating in industry conferences, training courses, and other events

It's great if you have:


  • Demonstrated experience programming market research surveys and/or contributing to qualitative or quantitative market research or consulting projects
  • 2+ years of programming experience (e.g.
CriticalMix, Qualtrics, Decipher, Confirmit, Survey Monkey) and at a minimum a basic understanding of front end development (e.g. HTML, CSS; javascript experience is a bonus)

  • Mindset for quickly learning new software and programming languages (e.g., syntax, logic)
  • Strong, professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly detail oriented, organized with excellent timemanagement skills
  • Teamplayer who can manage independent work on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a positive and optimistic attitude
  • Ability to deliver highquality work in a fastpaced environment
  • Selfstarter with a passion for programming and a desire and aptitude for learning on your own.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship at any time in the future.

Pay:
$60, $85,000.00 per year
