- Manage the preparation and distribution of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and company policies.
- Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors to support the annual financial audit and quarterly reviews.
- Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Analyze financial data and trends to provide actionable insights to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of accounting software systems to streamline financial reporting processes.
- Lead or participate in special projects, such as process improvements, system implementations, or merger/acquisition activities, as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting, accounting, or auditing roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines consistently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
