    Job Description

    Job DescriptionSalary: $17.00 per hour

    Under the supervision of the Aging Services Nutrition Coordinator, the Part-Time Kitchen Assistant for the Home Delivered Meals Program is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Home Delivered Meals Program by coordinating meal packaging and delivery to homebound residents of Hanover Township. Assists in the preparation of meals that meet the required nutritional guidelines. Aids in ensuring quality, freshness, and safety. Performs other duties as required for successful operation of the Aging Services Nutrition Division.

    • The non-exempt position has a pay rate of $17.00 per hour.
    • The position is scheduled for approximately 30 hours per week Monday – Friday and must be available from approximately 8:00AM – 1:30PM.

    SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

    • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) equivalent required.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including, but not limited to, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
    • Must have or be willing to obtain Food Safety and Sanitation Certificate.
    • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license needed.
