Enterprise IT (EIT) is an essential component of the current IT division that provides support to the Pharmaceutical Research, Supply Chain, Marketing organizations as well as Enabling Functions.

The EIT Strategy, Portfolio Management, & Functional Architecture group is responsible for achieving the future state objectives and vision of the organization.


Within the EIT Transformation Team, the EIT Key Initiatives Lead
will be responsible for overseeing and managing a variety of key initiatives and activities related to transformation, technology, data, automation, and operational excellence goals of EIT.

The role requires a strong background in program management and process improvement methodologies within the IT industry.


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate closely with the EIT leaders to implement the organization's strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company's overall objectives and the overall IT strategy efforts
  • Oversees and is accountable for the management, oversight, and delivery of select EIT programs, key initiatives, and associated activities
  • Initiatives may include but not limited to: defining and implementing collaborative and customercentric ways of working across the organization, develop framework and best practices to operationalize product roadmaps, coordination of workshops to upskill our teams and business partners, and improving financial acumen and TCO management across the organization.
  • Engages directly with EIT Value Team Leads as well as other our Company IT Divisional Leaders to coordinate activities, timelines and dependencies for key initiatives.
  • Engages directly with EIT Value Team Leads to coordinate and consolidate service demand and customer support needs related to key initiatives.
  • Drives operational excellence by identifying process improvement opportunities and partners with EIT leadership to implement areas of improvement related to key initiatives.
  • Continuously monitors the status and performance of each of the program initiatives.
  • Manages regular status reporting to EIT leadership.
  • Provides strategic thought leadership guidance and council to EIT leadership related to key initiatives.

Required Education:


  • Bachelor's Degree is required. Concentration in Information Technology, Business Transformation or related field is preferred.

Required Skills & Experience:


  • Minimum of 8 years working in IT management, program / project management or business consulting.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing global programs and driving process improvement within largescale organizations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to network internally and externally, and work effectively with all organizational levels.
  • Strong understanding of IT service management principles, frameworks and industry best practices.
  • Knowledge of lean process and service attributes.
  • Demonstrates an executive presence through good communication and professionalism.
  • Should be comfortable challenging the status quo and possess ability to convince and manage stakeholders.
