ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Analyze and process BOM change requests (Change Orders/ECOs) and create new Global Product Development (GPD) or Global Packaging Engineering (GPE) requested generic parts, utilizing the required source documents (Technical Information Sheets, Packaging Information Forms, New Part Request Forms, Private Label Specifications, Agile request information).
Hold requestors accountable to internal documentation requirements and approval processes (for example:
raw material specifications, substrate roll specifications, formula technical specifications, TAM/PAM/QAM processes, MoCRA requirements, etc.).

  • Scrutinize project submissions to comprehend and assess the requested actions for to ensure the required outcome is reached.
  • Recommend optimal project plan to achieve customers' desired objectives with mínimal write offs for the organization.
  • Provide direction to internal teams such as Product Management, Project Management, Internal Sales Directors including the Walmart team, Manufacturing Support, Demand Forecasting, Scheduling, Material Procurement, Graphics Project Coordinators, Global Packaging Engineering, and Global Product Development to scope and execute new transition projects.
  • Project management responsibilities include revising current product statuses to manage the type of change (new, change or discontinue), monitoring forecasts, monitoring inventory levels, providing scheduling and raw material reorder direction on transitioning items, entering graphics projects in Media Box software, directing the Graphics team on appropriate prioritization to achieve customer timelines, etc.
  • Monitor audit reports and make updates, if necessary, to keep internal systems (Agile & JDE) reconciled and up to date on product status.
  • Set up Item #'s and Bill of Materials in Agile. Set up labor routings and associated documentation such as operational manufacturing notes in JDE.
  • Special Projects and Analysis Work requested by other groups such as Product Management, Project Management, Customer Service, Accounting, and Regulatory. Process improvement suggestions and implementation and SOP writing as assigned.
  • Responsible for ensuring the product is set up to be produced exactly as our customer is expecting. Final Bill of Material, Change Order and Artwork Review prior to releasing Final BOM to Production. Project Completion including submission of destroyers of raw materials.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree required. Equivalent in education and relevant experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in Supply Chain, Sales Administration, Customer Service, Project Management, Operations Administration, or relevant required.
  • Manufacturing Software (JDE & Agile) knowledge a plus.
  • Formal project management training and/or certification (CAPM or PMP) is a plus.
  • PC knowledge, and use/knowledge of Microsoft tools
  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with a content management system (Media Box) is a plus.
  • Strong project management and communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to obtain and analyze information to make sound business decisions.
  • Knowledge of Consumer Goods packaging artwork related to design, color and coordination is a plus.
