Job Overview:


We are seeking a highly organized/dependable and detail-oriented Planner/ Scheduler Analyst that is a self-starter and fast learner, to join our team.

You will be responsible for planning and scheduling and maintaining production schedules to ensure efficient and timely completion of all orders.

You will work closely with various departments to coordinate resources, monitor inventory levels, and optimize production processes.


Responsibilities:

Ø Develop and maintain production schedules for the manufacturing plant, ensuring efficient and timely production of goods.

Ø Collaborate with shop management to understand production goals and priorities.

Ø Utilize systems and software to create and update production schedules
Monitor closely inventory levels to ensure availability of materials for production.
Coordinate with various departments, including production, supply chain, and operations, to ensure smooth workflow.

Ø Identify bottlenecks or issues in the production process and implement process improvement initiatives.

Ø Analyze data and trends to optimize production schedules and improve overall efficiency.

Ø Communicate schedule changes or updates to relevant stakeholders.

Ø Build models using computer aided design (CAD) and manufacturing (CAM) software.

Ø Test systems and analyze data to improve production methods.

Ø Manage projects and budgets.

Ø Responsible for scheduling, performing and recording all required inspection for projects.

Ø These inspections lead to successful sign-off and milestone completion, allowing an installation to become functional.

Ø Remove or discard all or any product and equipment that fail to meet specifications.

Ø Examine products and materials for defects or deviations from specifications.

Ø Plan and monitor workflow, as well as material movement in production cycles to ensure continuous operation.

Ø Responsible for running a smooth and efficient facility and ensuring a safe environment

Ø Responsible for the maintenance of company inventory and minimizing both overstock and out-of-stock occurrences.

Ø This will require you to analyze the supply and demand of a company's product and its forecast.


Skills:
Ø Strong knowledge of production/planning management principles and practices.

Ø Proficiency in using scheduling systems and software Job.

Ø Solid understanding of supply chain processes and inventory management.

Ø Purchasing and expediting/follow ups of PO to vendors.

Ø Knowledge of reading drawing to insure correct items are purchased for all orders.

Ø Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize production schedules.

Ø Experience with manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Ø Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ø Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

From $24.08 per hour
