- Minimum of ten (10) years of work experience in supply chain management , preferable in the medical or medical device industries .
- Deep subject matter expertise in global supply chain management best practices.
- Demonstrated understanding of the supply chain management challenges facing emerging market countries.
- Demonstrated ability to manage product design and inject it with subject matter expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented startup environment; experience working at an early-stage startup preferred.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights and customer feedback into actionable product strategies and roadmaps.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Deep understanding of user experience (UX) design principles, Agile methodologies, and product management best practices.
- Experience with product management tools such as JIRA, Asana, or Trello, as well as proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools.
- Experience working with developers and an understanding of the development requirements for products preferred.
- Passion for innovation, technology, and driving positive change in the supply chain industry.
- Previous experience working in global development and/or living or conducting work in developing countries preferred.
- Willingness to travel approximately 6-8 weeks per year.
- Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity.
- Fluency in a secondary language within a target market is preferred.

Head of ProductCampbell & James Executive Search is recruiting for a Head of Product to serve in a critical strategic leadership role for an early-stage startup. The Head of Product leads the design and development of our client's product as they move from Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to full-featured releases and gain traction with customers and investors. As the Head of Product, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of the platform, driving innovation, and delivering solutions that meet the evolving needs of customers.
This is a full-time direct hire position and can be located anywhere in the US with a preference for the east coast generally and the Washington, DC metro area specifically. There are no corp to corp or sponsorship opportunities for this role.
