We are seeking a dedicated and experienced
Production Team Lead to join our industrial bakery production company in the greater Chicago area.

The Production Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing the production team, ensuring that production targets are met, and maintaining high-quality standards in our bakery operations.

You will be working primarily weekend shifts (Friday through Mondays) either weekend first shift or weekend overnight shifts.

Lead and supervise the production team (of 1121 associates) to ensure efficient and effective production processes.
Working entirely on the bakery production floor (this is not a desk job)
Monitor production schedules and adjust as needed to meet deadlines and targets.
Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Maintain a safe working environment and ensure that all safety protocols are followed.
Collaborate with other departments such as quality control, maintenance, and logistics to optimize production processes.
Identify areas for improvement in production efficiency and implement solutions.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
Experience with manufacturing, production, or logistics is essential
Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
Manufacturing tracker systems experience
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a production setting.
Lean Six Sigma (IL6S) or Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) highly preferred
SAP experience preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
