Overview:
Duties:
- Monitor and assess patients in the ICU
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and postdischarge care
Requirements:
- Valid RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Proficiency in pain management and pediatric care
- Ability to lift and move patients safely
- Experience with Cerner or Epic electronic health records systems
- Knowledge of medical documentation standards
- Familiarity with procedures such as esthetic laser treatment, spinal taps, and dementia care
