- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the bar's inventory, including spirits, liqueurs, fresh ingredients, and special garnishes.
- Ensure items are well stocked and readily available for bartenders.
- Keep the bar area impeccably clean and organized, wiping down surfaces, cleaning spills promptly, securing inventory and supplies, and disposing of trash.
- Collect, clean, and polish glassware, ensuring clear of watermarks and residue.
- Assist bartenders in preparing ingredients, following established recipes and guidelines.
- Perform opening and closing procedures, including cleaning and sanitizing the bar area.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about ingredients and techniques, and offer menu recommendations.
- All applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to interact with co-workers in order to assure compliance with company service standards.
- Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced, team orientated setting.
- Must have a current Food Handler's and Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) Certificate.
- Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds.
- Ability to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time.
- Must have one year experience as a Barback, preferably in a fast-paced bar, high-end club, or restaurant.

Responsibilities:
The Barback is responsible for providing supplies and providing the bartender with items upon request that help assure exceptional guest service specifically in the Restaurant environment.
