    Description

    ACARA Solutions and our client in Cape Canaveral, FL have a Contract to Direct Hire position available.

    Avionics Technician

    RESPONSIBLITIES:

    • Technicians are responsible for fabricating wire harnesses and cables used in electrical and electronic equipment systems for satellites and space system components for the International Space Station, Artemis, and Orion programs as well as commercial programs.
    • are also responsible for assembling satellite buses and subsystems, and assembly of other complex electromechanical projects.
    • cuts, solders, and or crimps wire and contacts to fabricate wire harnesses.
    • instructions, such as work orders, diagrams, and wire lists to determine materials needed and sequence of assembly.
    • cables, satellite buses, and electromechanical systems.
    • potting of connectors to protect from water/dust intrusion.
    • and packages cable harness assemblies for shipment.
    • to all Quality Management Systems standards and procedures.
    • all team members with respect and dignity ensuring a collaborative culture is continually developed and maintained.
    • duties as assigned.
