As a volunteer-driven organization, we rely heavily on community involvement to achieve our mission.


Key Responsibilities:

Program Management: Oversee the operation and success of New Life's AmeriCorps VISTA Program.

Volunteer Recruitment: Actively recruit and engage volunteers for the AmeriCorps VISTA Program and broader New Life programming.

Support and Development: Provide ongoing support to AmeriCorps host sites and service members, ensuring a positive and productive experience.

Event Coordination: Organize appreciation events and team-building activities to foster a sense of community and gratitude among volunteers.

Training and Supervision: Ensure that all volunteers receive comprehensive training and are well-supported in their roles.


Qualifications:

• Proven experience in volunteer management and support.
• Strong interpersonal and relationshipbuilding skills to effectively engage with donors, prospects, staff, and volunteers.
• Demonstrated passion for our mission and a commitment to impacting the community positively.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Availability for occasional evening and weekend commitments.
• Must be able to pass a federal background check.

Job Type:

Pay:
$21.50 per hour

No more than 20 per week
