    Description

    The Radiology Technologist is responsible for performing various diagnostic procedures to generate detailed images that assist in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. Working closely with the radiology and healthcare team, the Radiology Technologist plays a key role in ensuring comprehensive patient care.



    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Conducts a wide range of radiologic procedures on patients of all ages
    • Handles paperwork and computer tasks efficiently
    • Evaluates scanning results, communicates findings to patients, and assists medical personnel
    • Maintains equipment and facilities to ensure patient and staff safety and comfort
    • Regularly checks and organizes supplies and accessories
    • Processes films, verifies patient details, and ensures accurate labelling
    • Greets and assists patients, obtains relevant medical history, and coordinates patient movements
    • Prioritizes patient confidentiality and practices radiation safety measures
    • Performs additional duties as required
    Minimum Requirements:
    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • Valid certification in Radiology Technology
    • Preferably holds an ARRT license
    • Compliance with state-specific licensure
    • At least one year of experience as a radiology technologist
    • Adherence to professional standards and certifications
    • Completion of relevant training programs and certifications
    • Current CPR certification and health clearance
    • Familiarity with patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations
    • Strong communication and computer skills
    • Minimum age requirement of 18 years
